The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology’s College of Health Sciences initiated the Biennial Scientific Conference in July 2007.
This year, the 11th Biennial Scientific Conference is under the theme:“Bridging the Gap: Multidisciplinary Approaches to Strengthening Ghana’s Health System” is scheduled for 10th to 12th September 2025.
The Scientific Conference will facilitate discussions on pressing and contemporary issues, providing a dynamic space for research scholars, policymakers, students, academics, practitioners, and other stakeholders to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and debate perspectives. These gatherings foster a learning community and generate valuable insights that inform future research agendas and policy reforms.
The conference is expected to make a profound impact, catalysing meaningful connections among research scholars, health professionals, and policymakers and establishing innovative links with academic institutions and service industries. Thus, it will rewrite the landscape of academic collaboration and knowledge sharing with service industries.
The German-West African Centre for Global Health and Pandemic Prevention (G-WAC) is hosted by the College of Health Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. The Centre collaborates with the Technical University Berlin, Charité-University of Medicine Berlin and University of Bonn, Germany.
